Our Story

Growing up in the tourist capital of the world (Orlando, FL) was great in a lot of ways.  There are always interesting people around, you could always skip school and go to Disney and look like you are supposed to be there, and traveling in and out of Orlando to any destination in the world is quite affordable and easy.  However the downside is that the desire to visit other tourist traps when traveling just isn't there.  There is zero happiness standing in long lines, paying tourist trap prices, and totally missing out on what adventures are really there in the location to see and do. As an adult I have always sought out a different way to travel.

It wasn't until I started traveling on wakeboarding trips with my daughter that I realized there is a better way to travel.  On these trips we would always end up hanging out with the locals, learning about EPIC spots that weren't on the tourist maps, and had the opportunity to build true friendships.  As we travel from state to state, and country by country I realized that most people that take vacations, never really get the same experiences we have.

While in the Philippines chatting over a few beers I was sharing some of our travel stories with some of my new European friends, and it hit me.  Other people crave the kind of travel I have come to love.  They were completely enamored at the experiences and connections I have formed.  Realizing their jealousy I was joking a bit and said "If I put a trip together for all of us would you like to come?"  They responded with great enthusiasm absolutely!  That is how US Cable Tours was born.  I coordinated the first ever Ultimate Wakeboard Road Trip and had people come from all over the world to experience wakeboarding and adventure the way we do.  We now offer a variety of wakeboarding road trips, adventure road trips, and weekend getaways.  If you yearn for EPIC vacations then you have landed in the right place.  We hope to see you on a future trip.
